The Spirit Vertigo collection is a maximalist Major Arcana print series inspired by animist mysticism and folk esoterica. "Spirit Vertigo" is a sense of wonder, fear, awe, ghost-deep dizziness and instinctive grounding in the face of something overwhelmingly beautiful, High Strange, or palpably ineffable. It's the feeling you get when you look at the night sky from a lightless beach, and feel like gravity could cut out any minute, and you might fall up.

SYMBOLISM
 
The Hermit in tarot symbolizes the journey inward to chase gnosis through observation and introspection within chosen solitude, quiet, stillness, and the general reduction of sensory input. I associate this card with research and philosophy as well as spiritual seeking.
 
In this design, a tiny figure lifts a tiny candle in an immense, night library, flooded with star stuff. The architecture is inspired by the iconic library at Trinity College in Dublin. Book swoon.
