SYMBOLISM
The Star in tarot symbolizes healing, hope, and renewal, especially after a time of hardship, trial, or disaster. It's the pause between an exhalation and an inhalation--a moment where we still ourselves and survey the landscape after letting go of something past, but before creating something new. The Star's light in the dark serves as a beacon, guide, and aid to navigation.
In this design, we revisit the landscape of the Tower in another time, undisrupted by design, disaster, or light pollution. The only human elements are a horrifically tall ladder, and a figure so small in proportion to the landscape, we can't tell anything about them beyond the fact that they've climbed up here for some reason. The height of cliff, the boom of wave, the expanse of sky, and the population of stars must surely overwhelm the senses, and drown all cares. Take a breather. Scream into the Void. Don't even think. Be small and be well.
